Great little taste of home! We got the pastie, fish and chips, and steak and mushroom pie. Just like you would get at in an authentic pub in England. This is NOT American style - if you don't like it, then go to Bubba Gump. But for the Brit ex-pat, it's exactly what I was looking for.

The decor was fun. The service was good and the view was decent (the swarm of flies was a meh... took a bit from the ambiance). The fish and chips were good--I enjoyed the steak fries and that the fish had a nice crispy batter while also having tender fish on the inside (husband thought it was okay)

Need to remove previous post. The owner is upset and I discovered why the venue was not open when we arrived early. I've always been a fan of their black and blue salad and we will continue to order it. Love the fish and chips and their curly straw onion rings. Can't beat the view. I hope the new entrance right off the rec trail walk will bring a lot of business. Perfect place to stop after a long walk.

As part time locals, we know where we can/should go to eat...London Pub is one of those places we frequent. Great staff and the food has always been awesome as well. We usually vacillate btw the fresh salmon, the rock cod, and the fish and chips. The coleslaw is perfect with the fish and chips and we usually order an extra side of the slaw. You can't go wrong at the LBP!

Wonderful time in London! Parking is a breeze, classic old school, water front vibe with great customer service. Full drink menu and the food just works well.

Friday, 11/10/2023 - Snacked at London Bridge Pub. Address is 256 Figueroa St #2, Monterey, CA 93940. Right at the warf. It's paid parking. Like $1.50 per hour. We went for drink happy hour and warm, enticing fire place. Upon arrival... Pros: 1) staff was very nice. We got seated right away. 2) server is so sweet and nice. She took our drink orders and food orders. She had so much patience with us. 3) foods were okay. Clam chowder was ok. 4) they have a bar, seating inside and seating outside. Cons: 1) none. Conclusion: Cute little pub. Nice to hang out and drink at the warf. Staffs were nice. The fire place on top of the table was pretty nice. They use the empty 6 pack beer bottle box as a ketchup/mustard holder. Creative to reuse things. I liked that. I like this little pub.
